What do I get?
Rylee was cooperative the other day. She did chores and followed instructions. I know that some of you are saying "so what" but this is Rylee we are talking about and she usually gets distracted after about a nano-second of helping. She was so excited to get to pick whatever she wanted to watch on TV! I said "Rylee, you did such a good job today and were such a good helper, you win the cleaning award for the day." She looked at me and said, "What do I get?". I laughed and said, "You get a hug". She giggled and I gave her a big hug. As soon as the hug was over, she said "No really, what do I get?"

My first blog post!!!
I've been thinking that everytime one of the kids does something crazy that I would like to remember that I should write it down somehow. Today I decided to start a blog to help me remember these crazy times.
Here is the story for today...
I was putting up Christmas decorations and Rylee came into the room with something that looked like chocolate pudding on her hands. She was rubbing her hands together like she was washing them. I asked her what she had on her hands and she said "nothing" while continuing to rub her hands together. I said "yes you do, what is that?" She looked down at her hands as if shocked that there was something there and said "it's a curse". I said, "Rylee, WHAT is that on your hands?" She said, "I told you, it's a curse". I told her to please go wash the curse off of her hands and make sure to rinse out the sink when she was done. She came back a few minutes later with her hands behind her back. "Rylee, did you rinse your hands?" She giggled, but kept them behind her back and said "Weellllll, I DID wash them, but then I did it again".
She washed them again, and I still don't know what the curse was. I probably don't want to know.
